If you have passed MRCOG Part 1, MRCOG Part 2, and the Assessment of Training (AoT), your next step is clearing MRCOG Part 3—the last hurdle before achieving membership in the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG).

For candidates planning to sit for MRCOG Part 3 in May 2025, here’s an important update: The priority booking window will open on Thursday, 6 March 2025. Here, we will touch upon all the important dates of the MRCOG Part 3 May 2025 exam that you need to know.

MRCOG Part 3 May 2025 Exam Pattern

MRCOG Part 3 is the final step toward earning the gold-standard qualification in obstetrics and gynaecology. This objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) assesses both clinical knowledge and communication skills. Clearing this exam officially grants you membership in RCOG.

Important Dates to Remember

MRCOG PART 3 KEY DATES
    Priority booking window opens Thursday, 6 March 2025
   Priority booking window closes    Monday, 10 March 2025
Second booking window opens   Thursday, 13 March 2025
   Second booking window closes     Monday, 17 March 2025
     Exam dates   14–15 May 2025, 19–20 May 2025
  Result announcement Wednesday, 18 June 2025

Candidates have five days to confirm their slots during the priority booking from 6 March 2025 to 10 March 2025. The second booking window will be open from 13 March 2025 to 17 March 2025. The last date for completing the Assessment of Training (AoT) was Thursday, 30 January 2025.  The exam will be conducted on both 14, 15 May 2024 and 19, 20 May 2024, and the results will be announced by Wednesday 18 June 2025

Exam Venues

The MRCOG Part 3 May 2025 exam will be conducted at the following locations:

  • London
  • Delhi
  • Lahore
  • Malaysia
  • Abu Dhabi
  • Chennai
  • Singapore

Indian aspirants can book Delhi or Chennai as their exam center. Exam bookings usually open at 9:00 a.m. UK time, so make sure to adjust based on your country’s time zone.
