Are you planning to confirm your slots for the upcoming MRCOG Part 1 & Part 2 exams? RCOG announced that the booking window for the MRCOG Part 1 & 2 Jan 2024 exams will soon be opened. As the college confirmed 14 November 2023 as the booking opening date for MRCOG Part 1 & Part 2 exams, it is time for the January 2024 candidates to book their seats. The Part 1 exams are scheduled to be held on Tuesday, 16 January 2024, and Part 3 exams on Wednesday, 17 January 2024.
MRCOG is the gold standard qualification for obstetricians and gynecologists across the globe. The exam comprises three parts, including Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3. The booking window for both Part 1 and Part 2 exams will close on Thursday, 14 December 2023.
The MRCOG Part 1 exam covers the basic and applied sciences relevant to the clinical practice of Obstetrics & Gynecology. The exam consists of two papers, which include both multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and extended matching questions (EMQS).
To book the MRCOG Part 1 exam, you need to follow a step-by-step process.
At first, you need an account with RCOG to take MRCOG examinations. If you have already booked or taken an RCOG exam, you already have an account. It’s essential to use the same account so that we can keep all your information in the same place. You can create a new account easily by clicking ‘Register’ at the top of your page.
For new, first-time candidates, you must submit our eligibility form below and have it approved. If you have previously sat an MRCOG exam, you are already eligible and do not need to complete another eligibility application. To sit the MRCOG Part 1 Jan 2024 exam, you must submit your Part 1 Eligibility application before the deadline.
For an opportunity to book available spaces on the MRCOG Part 1 January 2024 exam, candidates must complete an Expression of Interest form within the required deadline for each exam. Book available Pearson VUE test centers for the January 2024 exam. Eligible candidates who successfully submitted an Expression of Interest form will receive an email when the application window opens.
1. Log in using only the email address and password you normally use to access your RCOG account.
2. The candidate will be redirected to the Exam Candidate Portal of RCOG. Here, aspirants can search and book into available test centre spaces.
3. The default search option will display the closest test centres to your registered address.
4. All places are available on a first come first served basis and the RCOG cannot guarantee all test centres listed will still have availability at the time candidates log in to the booking system.
The MRCOG Part 2 exam assesses aspirants’ knowledge in clinical scenarios. This written examination consists of two papers, consisting of MCQS, EMQS, and short-answer questions (SAQs). These are the step-by-step processes to book the MRCOG Part 2 exam.
For an opportunity to book available spaces on the MRCOG Part 2 January 2024 exam, aspirants must first complete an Expression of Interest form within the deadline.
Eligible candidates who successfully submitted an Expression of Interest form will have received an email when the application window opened with instructions on how to book an exam place at available Pearson VUE test centers.
