The next step is MRCOG Part 2. You must have cleared Part 1 of MRCOG to be eligible to sit for this exam. This phase focuses on the application of clinical knowledge you have gained so far.

Question type: SBAs and Extended Matching Questions (EMQs)

Number of questions: 50 SBAs and 50 EMQs per paper

Exam duration: 3 hours per paper

MRCOG Part 3: The final push

This is the third and final step of MRCOG. It is the practical assessment phase of MRCOG. The exam is conducted in the form of an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE), and it tests communication skills, patient safety, ethics, and practical application of knowledge.

Duration: 12 minutes per station

Format: Role plays and structured scenarios
