What is MRCOG and its Benefits

MRCOG is the platinum-plated key to a global career offered by the highly reputable RCOG (Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology). This exam is divided into three parts: MRCOG Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3. Each assesses a diverse range of theoretical and clinical skills. MRCOG Part 1 comprises two papers, which deal with the theoretical prowess of the candidate with 100 questions that follow a single best answer pattern.

MRCOG Part 2 deals with a similar structure and number of questions, with 50 questions that follow a single best answer pattern and another 50 following an extended matching question pattern.

Finally, MRCOG Part 3 is a clinical assessment where various elements of clinical expertise are assessed by 14 tasks in a circuit, with each task based on one of the 14 modules depicted in the syllabus.

MRCOG is one of the qualifying elements for practising as a physician specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology. Furthermore, its reputation gives your career a massive boost without any restrictions based on borders.
