Booking Process

Follow the steps mentioned below to make your booking for the MRCOG Part 1 Exam.

1. Create RCOG Account

You are supposed to create an RCOG account to sit for the exams. You are further entitled to an account in case you have already booked or taken an RCOG exam. Lastly, make sure that you use the same name to keep all your information in the same place.

2. Submit Eligibility Form

First time candidates should submit their eligibility form and get it approved. If you have already appeared for an MRCOG exam, you are already eligible. You may not fulfill another eligibility application. In addition, to book a seat for the exam you need to complete the expression of interest form.
You must submit an eligibility application and have it approved if you have never attempted an MRCOG Part 1 exam. To receive a booking token, process your eligibility application further and have it approved. Lastly, make sure that you use the same RCOG college number to complete the expression of interest form.
Resit candidates, who have already taken the MRCOG Part 1 exam at least once are eligible to sit the exam. Complete the expression of interest form to book a place for the exam.

3. Apply Diligently

Make sure your application is not missing any details or contains errors. If that is the case, you won’t be able to book. Complete the whole form and attach your medical degree certificate and government ID.
If you are unable to verify your degree certificate you need to email an attested photocopy version. The name on your government ID should match with the ones on the application form and medical degree certificate.

Time For Processing

It takes up to 4 weeks after the closing date for Part 1 Eligibility application to be processed. Once it is approved, you can book a place on the MRCOG Part 1 Exam.
